Perspectives will be presented at Goucher College's Silber Art Gallery in the Athenaeum from Tuesday, October 30, to Sunday, December 9, 2012. This exhibit, which is free and open to the public, can be viewed Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
An artists' reception will be held Friday, November 9, from 6 to 9 p.m., with an artist's talk at 7 p.m.
Joyce Yu-Jean Lee presents divergent views of her American and Chinese heritage through video works.
For the exhibit, Lee compares perspectives of pictorial space and ways of seeing still
and moving images, ideas of illumination, and visual consumption. Her animated video
works are in response to references of Western art history.
